Camera loan (DIY)

AV Services has a digital camera, tripod and microphone kit available for loan that can be used for DIY filming of presentations and seminars.

Sometimes simply capturing the audio and images of your presentation is not enough, and including shots of the presenter may add value to your recording and boost the student experience.

Staff can independently shoot their own lectures, interviews and other material and we also offer technical advice and support if required.

Basic editing can be easily achieved utilising user-friendly editing software from your standard desktop computer, and we suggest that Windows 7 be installed.

Equipment loans are subject to availability with a maximum loan period of five consecutive days, so please ensure that you book in advance by calling x16000 (menu option 2). The service is open to University academic staff for on-campus learning and teaching purposes.
