Faults and Repairs

Audio Visual Services provide maintenance and fault repair in the University’s AV equipped spaces. Our staff will try to rectify the problem by talking you through the issue over the phone or by coming to your venue to assist you in person.

We understand the pressures of presenting amid a technology mishap, so we aim to either repair AV faults immediately or implement a work-around solution to keep your class or seminar going.

Our staff can also lodge a service request for you so that any problems you may encounter with audio visual equipment or systems can be addressed as soon as possible.

We routinely maintain all of our AV equipment to ensure our systems are functioning at their optimal level and that the learning and teaching experience is positive, smooth and effective.

Please note: in rooms still equipped with chalk boards it would be greatly appreciated if chalk and dusters are kept away from AV systems and that food or beverages, particularly coffee is not placed on the lecterns.
