What is the service?

ICT provides and supports advanced audio visual presentation systems across the University to facilitate presentations and enhance learning and teaching.

What is included?

ICT provides the following audio visual services in centrally managed and Shared Services faculty-based University teaching venues:

  • AV systems and equipment user support and maintenance
  • Conference and seminar AV support
  • AV systems installation and design
  • AV equipment loans
  • Audience interaction tools (TurningPoint keypad technology)
  • Video, media production, lecture recording (Camtasia) & editing services
  • Training for users of AV systems and equipment
  • AVWeb system for remote management of AV equipment in teaching venues

ICT provides support, advice and consultation in faculty-based teaching venues.

What should I expect?

User support response time  95% of support requests at centrally managed venues will be responded to immediately using our remote management system where available 
Training for users of AV systems and equipment  95% of requests will be responded to within 3 hours to arrange your training requirements 
AV equipment loans  95% of requests will be responded to within 3 hours to arrange loans and assistance 
Audience interaction tools (TurningPoint keypad technology)  95% of requests will be responded to within 3 hours to arrange loans and assistance  
Video, media production, lecture recording & editing services  95% of requests will be responded to within 2 days to discuss your production and recording requirements
AV systems installation and design advice  95% of requests will be responded to within 2 days to arrange a discussion of your requirements 

Specialist support hours are from 8:00am to 9:00pm Monday – Friday. Specialist support for weekends is available on request. A one week notice period is required (closed for public holidays and University semester closedown periods)
