What is the service?
Faculties and departments are able to order their IT equipment direct from the University's preferred suppliers (currently Dell and Apple). More detailed information can be accessed at Ask Sydney - ICT/Computer acquisition.
What is included?
This service includes:
- General preferred supplier hardware provisioning advice (e.g. choice of model, accessories, etc)
- Provisioning Advice for Specialised Computing requirements above the standard University hardware bundles.
- ICT can only order and provision for the following areas:
- Agriculture
- Biological Sciences
- Geosciences
- Science Faculty Office
- Office of the Vice Chancellor
What should I expect?

| Ordering and delivery of <25standard desktop, laptop and printer bundles from preferred suppliers | 95% of orders will be delivered within 7 business days |
| Ordering and delivery of 25- 100 standard desktop, laptop and printer bundles from preferred suppliers | 95% of orders will be delivered within 13 working days of order being placed |
Specialist consulting services are from 9-5, Monday – Friday (closed on public holidays). General Helpdesk advice as to Standard bundles is available from 8am-9pm Monday-Friday (closed on public holidays)
