Assistive technology
We provide comprehensive specialist consultation and support to assist the University in providing technologies for staff and students with disabilities.
Audio visual services
We supply and support advanced audio visual presentation systems across the University to facilitate presentations and enhance learning and teaching.
Computer acquisition
We facilitate and manage the acquisition, support and distribution of desktops, laptops and desktop printers.
Desktop support
We support and responds to service requests related to the desktop computing environment, including desktop, laptop, LAN, printer and software support.
Email and calendar
We supply an email service for staff and students. The email system also offers calendar and contacts functionality, and can be accessed both on and off campus.
End of lease
We provide End of Lease advice, and coordinates the return of IT assets due for return to leasing companies, and can assist with the selection of replacement hardware if required.
Fixed Telephony
We supply and support the University's fixed telephony service. The fixed telephony group install new phones and relocate and modify existing phone connections.
Helpdesk
The ICT Helpdesk is a central contact point for all staff and students for their IT technical and support needs.
Internet and network services
We provide connectivity between computers, to share resources and information securely.
Mobile phones
We supply and supports a range of mobile phone services to University staff. This includes provision of mobile handset, account management and technical support & assistance.
Server hosting
We provide hosting services that allow students and faculties to use hardware owned and managed by the University to store and share data.
Software Provisioning
We supply, support and distribute software for use on University owned ICT equipment.
Student computer laboratories
Student Computer Laboratories, also known as ICT Access Labs, provide on-campus access to shared computers and peripheral IT services.
UniKey account management
We cover the provision and management of staff and student UniKey accounts.
Video, web and data conferencing
We provide conferencing services which enable staff and students to participate in virtual lectures, meetings and presentations.
Web collaboration
We provide web tools that allow staff and postgraduate research students to share and manage information and collaborate online.
