This service provides connectivity between computers, to share resources and information securely.

What is included?

This service includes:

  • Availability of fixed and wireless data networks
  • Moves, additions or changes to fixed data network
  • Wireless data network point installation
  • Network security control (e.g. firewall, proxy servers, etc.)
  • Incident response

What should I expect?

Key Metrics Target
Fixed data and wireless network service availability 99% availability
Moves, additions and changes to fixed data network- Simple (individual or small numbers of people using existing cabling and switch infrastructure) 95% of tasks are completed within 3 days
Moves, additions or changes to fixed data network-Complex (changes requiring some cabling or switch infrastructure changes) 95% of site surveys completed within 5 days
New wireless point installation 95% completed within 10 days
Firewall changes 95% completed within 2 days
Incident Response 95% completed within 1 day

Specialist support hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday (closed on public holidays)
