What is the service?

ICT provides and supports a range of mobile and smart (with PDA capability) phone services to University staff. This includes provision of mobile handset, mobile phone account management and technical support & assistance.

What is included?

This service includes:

  • Provision of mobile handset, handset accessories and phone number
  • Provision of smart phone handset and setup services (University email, calendar and contacts synchronisation)
  • Facilitation of warranty and repairs for handsets purchased under this service
  • Transfer of an existing mobile phone number across to university account
  • Provision of mobile data services for internet access, email and calendaring
  • Arrangement of mobile phone activations e.g. international roaming
  • Technical support and assistance for mobile and smart phones
