Getting started

Firstly, welcome to the University of Sydney! Information and Communications Technology (ICT) provides a wide array of IT services and support to students at Sydney, especially designed so you get the most out of your student experience on campus. This website contains information about those services and how to access them.

Using the Student IT website

To get an idea of what type of services are available to you while you’re studying at Sydney, click Student IT services on the menu on your left.

The information on the website is organised by service. You can navigate between topics using the main menu in the tabs above. If you need assistance using some of the services, click Guides where you will find links to frequently asked questions and setup guides.

The quick links pane on your right feature the most popular tools students need, such as changing your UniKey password, adding funds to your UniKey account, and accessing the wireless network, as well as links to useful sites such as MyUni or the University's eLearning system (previously known as WebCT).

Code of conduct and terms of use

All internet services and online facilities are governed by the University's Code of Conduct and Conditions of Use as outlined in the Information and Communication Technology Resources Policy of the University of Sydney

All users are required to agree to these terms and conditions before using a UniKey account.

Any breaches will be investigated and may lead to the termination of your enrolment.
