There's never been a better time to visit Canberra; 2013 marks 100 years since Lady Denman, wife of then Governor-General Lord Denman, stood upon the newly laid Foundation Stones and announced the name of the new Australian capital. The Centenary of Canberra program is a year-long celebration of all the city has to offer.
The ACSME conference takes place during the first week of Floriade, Canberra's celebration of spring and the biggest flower festival in Australia. We recommend delegates book accommodation early, as there will be many visitors in town for the festival, and that you make the time to take it Floriade too!
