Born and educated in Dublin, Ireland, Jessica migrated to Australia in 1988. Before her appointment as Director of International House in June 2002, Jessica was Personnel Manager for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Sydney and has extensive experience working in a tertiary environment including academic research. Jessica experienced College life during her resident appointment as Assistant Director of International House from 2000 to 2002.
Jessica holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Sydney; is a registered psychologist in NSW and a member of the Australian Psychological Society; and also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Jessica was appointed Secretary of University Colleges Australia from 2003 to 2005 and is currently Chair of the Membership Committee for the International Houses Worldwide.
Jessica lives in Sydney with her husband Phillip Milton and they have two children Hannah and Andrew. Jessica’s personal interests include sports, travel and movies. Jessica played national league basketball in Ireland for many years and state league basketball in Sydney.
