AMPlify! The Alumni Mentoring Program of International House

AMPlify! the SUIHAA Alumni Mentoring Program matches current residents and alumni according to their professional ambitions, academic pursuits and personalities.

In 2010, the SUIHAA committee launched this new activity for the residents of the House. The AMPlify! program enables residents to make use of the extensive alumni network and develop their career path. It also gives alumni an enriching way to ‘give back’ to the community and reconnect with the house and each other.

How does it work?

This program involves the pairing of a current resident with a member of the IH alumni community. The parties are matched on their answers to a questionnaire on their respective fields of study and employment (ambitions) as well as general interests.

How can you help?

In 2011 the SUIHAA committee has devised a more structured process for the AMPlify! mentoring event. The mentees will be attending 2 events designed around specific themes and topics of discussion.

The next Meet and Greets are on the 21st of May and the 10th of September.

We are looking for mentors to cover the diverse range of interests and pursuits of residents. We hope you can all help SUIHAA ‘give back’ to International House, through this important program.
