Orientation, Social and Cultural Activities

Earth Hour 2013

At International House, residents find all the support they need to make their time at university enriching and worthwhile. There's a welcoming mentor program for new residents, academic support through a tutorial program, guest lectures, scholarships and bursaries. This adds up to a significant advantage for students, who get to live in a supportive environment that also supplements their university education.

International House (IH) and International House Members' Association (IHMA) hosts many exciting events throughout the year, such as: formal dinners; musical performances; discos; dancing and singing competitions; sporting events like paintball, soccer, and basketball; trips around Australia; harbour cruises and much more.

Orientation Week

Whilst other students are still trying to find their accommodation, International House Residents are settling into their room and enjoying Orientation activities and events. International House has a comprehensive Orientation program with plenty of opportunity to get to know campus, Sydney and the other residents. It is a fun and important beginning to academic life at Sydney.
