John Grill

John Grill

Chairman

John Grill is the current chairman and was the former chief executive of international resources and energy company WorleyParsons.

He was named Engineers Australia Professional Engineer of the Year in 2006 and awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Sydney in 2010 in recognition of his contribution to the engineering profession. He is the Chairman of the National Precincts Board and is also on the board of Neuroscience Research Australia.

Professor Suresh Cuganesan

Suresh Cuganesan is a Professor at the University of Sydney Business School, in Organisational Control and Performance.

Professor Cuganesan's research program examines how organisations can design and use performance measurement and management control systems to enhance their strategy execution capability and deliver better outcomes.

He has advised and consulted for CEOs and organisations operating in financial services, energy, law enforcement, transport, government, recruitment, energy and sport. He also conducts corporate and executive training courses for leading Australian and international organisations.

Professor Cuganesan has held previous academic leadership positions including associate dean of research at Macquarie Graduate School of Management and the foundation director of the Centre for Enterprise Performance at Swinburne University of Technology.


Amar Flora

Amar Flora is the Operations Director for the John Grill Centre and the Executive Officer, Financial Services at the University of Sydney.

He returned from New York in 2009 after working with Ameriprise Financial (AMEX) in strategy, marketing and product development. He has previously worked in business development with Telstra, and in business performance, project management and process improvement with the Commonwealth Bank.

Mr Flora holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (UWS), Graduate Diploma in International Business (Cambridge) and Graduate Diploma in Change Management (AGSM, UNSW) and is currently completing his final year of the EMBA (AGSM, UNSW). Member of CPA Australia (CPA).
