"My vision is to create a world-class centre which will attract senior executives across a broad range of industries who will gain the skills to effectively deliver large projects, bringing benefits to all levels of our society."
John Grill, Chair
The John Grill Centre for Project Leadership at the University of Sydney was established in October 2012 with a landmark donation from University of Sydney alumnus John Grill AO, on his retirement as CEO of WorleyParsons.
John Grill is Chair of the centre and Marc Vogts was appointed in 2013 to lead the centre as Chief Executive. He is supported by Professor Suresh Cuganesan, Deputy Chief Executive and Amar Flora, Chief Operating Officer.
A board has been established to further the centre’s linkages with industry and government in Australia and internationally. Board members include John Grill, Kevin McCann, Sir David Higgins, Dr Stuart McGill, John Mulcahy, The Hon Nick Greiner, Jim McIlvenny, Professor Stephen Garton, Professor Gregory Whitwell and Professor Archie Johnston.
Being based at the University of Sydney, the John Grill Centre is able to tap into the great minds of our academic teams and work within the University’s extensive infrastructure and network.
