Single Unit Enrolment
The Sydney Law School is at the forefront of legal education both in Australia and overseas. Through high quality teaching and research, the Faculty has achieved a national and international reputation for critical and independent scholarship. As a Single Unit Enrolment (SUE) participants you can “audit” any of the 150 or so postgraduate units of study offered each year over 21 areas of specialisation taught by our own experts as well as overseas visitors.
The Single Unit Enrolment program allows you to attend lectures, receive relevant reading materials, and gain access to the unit’s online e-Learning website. You are not required to undertake assignments or examinations.
Courses are offered by one of two methods, either attendance one night per week for 13 weeks between 6.00-8.00pm. Courses offered as intensive units are normally conducted over four or five days between 9.00am-5.00pm.
Under the MCLE/ CPD Rules and Guidelines you may claim one “unit” for each hour of attendance, refreshment breaks not included. Postgraduate units of study cover 26 hours of lectures.
Note: Participants seeking individual units of study as accreditation towards a degree (where formal assessment tasks are required to be completed) should apply as a Non-Degree applicant. Please see the Future students section of this website for further details.
