Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency - The Department was established on 3 December 2007. Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities (SEWPaC was established on 14 September 2010, formerly Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts)
The SEWPaC website provides extensive information regarding national environmental legislation and policies as well as reports such as Australia State of the Environment 2011 (SoE2011). Information is organised by nine broad environmental themes - Atmosphere, Biodiversity, Coasts and oceans, Heritage, Indigenous Australians Caring for Country, Land management, Parks and reserves, Human settlements and Water Resources. http://www.environment.gov.au

The website provides extensive information regarding environmental legislation, reports such as State of the Environment, policies, environmental impact statements, and fact sheets.
Department of Planning and Infrastructure
The website has information on environmental planning policies such as SEPPs and REPs and action plans such as the Sydney Metropolitan Strategy.
The Heritage Branch (Dept of Planning and Infrastructure)
The Heritage Office is a division of the Department of Planning. The website includes the NSW heritage database which is a list of all statutory-listed heritage items in NSW and also has guidelines and publications on heritage policy and management.
Department of Primary Industries DPI was formed in July 2004 with the amalgamation of Mineral Resources NSW, NSW Agriculture, NSW Fisheries and State Forests NSW. The website provides information such as environmental legislation, reports, policies, impact statements, fact sheets and periodicals.

Australian Wildlife Conservancy
