Submissions to Current Issues in Criminal Justice

Authors are invited to submit Articles, Contemporary Comments and Book Reviews for publication in Current Issues in Criminal Justice.

All articles submitted are peer-reviewed by two referees with relevant expertise. This process usually takes 8-12 weeks. Articles are also assessed by the Editor of the upcoming issue.

Requirements for Submissions

In order to be considered for review, submissions must:
1. comply with the Journal's Style Guide; and
2. be within the relevant word limit, namely:

  • under 8,000 words for Articles;
  • 2,000-4,000 words for Contemporary Comments; and
  • 500-1,000 words for Book Reviews.

An abstract of not more than 200 words should be included with Articles and Contemporary Comments.
