Sydney Law School is holding a series of seminars in conjunction with the Learning Centre. These seminars are designed to assist postgraduate coursework students to develop the skills which are necessary for learning and communicating knowledge and ideas when writing their assignments for Law.
Information will be available at the beginning of each semester.
The Learning Centre also offers a wide range of workshops on study skills, academic reading and writing, oral communication skills and postgraduate writing and research skills.
Students with a long-term illness, disability or injury should register with Disability Services in order to obtain an academic plan and receive special adjustments to assist them in the completion of their assessment.
Special consideration cannot be used in lieu of a registration with Disability Services. However, students registered with Disability Services may make a claim for special consideration for conditions lying beyond the scope of their Academic Plan.
CAPS offers a number of workshops to help students improve their well-being and academic success through face-to-face and online support.
The text and citations must conform to the Australian Guide to Legal Citation (3rd edition), which can be accessed as a read only PDF here.
The total word count for an essay or research project should exclude the bibliography, footnote numbers and footnote citations, but discursive footnotes and quotations are included.
