Assessment
Assessment varies according to the course in which students are enrolled. All students must attend lectures and sit a formal examination in Shanghai. Postgraduate students and students enrolled in LAWS3014 must also submit a research essay following the Winter School.
The details of assessment for each unit of study are as follows:
- LAWS3068 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (6 credit points)
One examination to be completed in Shanghai (100%) - LAWS3014 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (8 credit points)
One examination to be completed in Shanghai (70%); one 2500 word essay (30%) due on Monday 30 January 2012. - LAWS5368 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (6 credit points)
One examination to be completed in Shanghai (100%) - LAWS6001 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (12 credit points)
One examination to be completed in Shanghai (30%); one 8000 word research essay (70%) due on Thursday 23 February 2012.
Both the examination and the essay will be marked by academic staff from Sydney Law School. Additional information relating to assessment and accessing unit of study results is available here.
