Peer Mentoring Program
The Sydney Law School Peer Mentor Program now has its own Facebook page
The Faculty of Law with the support of SULS (Sydney University Law Society) and CLSS (Chinese Law Student Society) launched a Peer to Peer Mentoring program in February 2010.
The aim of the program was to help first year students settle into University and make them feel part of the Law Faculty.
The program was also designed to assist new students to build social and academic networks through attending a range of events with the support of a mentor.
This program was for first year undergraduate students in the Combined Law and the Sydney JD.
All first year students who signed up for the program were assigned a mentor. The mentor was a senior student who worked with a group of first year students to help them settle in.
The program ran again in 2012 and was available for students who are enrolled in either the Juris Doctor (JD) or Combined Law. This website will provide you with further information on the program.
