Leadership and Change
We offer a variety of training opportunities in the areas of leadership and change for a range of levels within the University.
Executive and Senior Leaders
The programs within this stream are designed to address the needs of senior academic and professional staff within the University. All programs are delivered by external advisors, and have been tailored in response to consultation with senior staff and feedback from previous participants.
All programs provide opportunities to discuss your own and others’ experiences and aim to foster a useful dialogue amongst participants both during and after the session(s). Some programs have been designed to address the specific needs of academic staff, whilst others are open to both academic and general staff and promote a greater understanding of what is required in order to improve the functioning of the University as a whole.
Training for developing leaders is aimed at experienced staff in management roles who would like a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of leadership and of the markers of effective performance in the university context. The ability to provide effective leadership and management within times of change are also focused on whilst contemporary people leadership themes are weaved into hard skill development and both personal and professional leadership development.
