The purpose of planning and development (P&D) is to provide staff with the opportunity to document their performance achievements and discuss them with their supervisor or advisor. It also enables staff to identify development and career planning objectives.

Academic Planning & Development
Launched in September 2012, the new academic planning and development process (AP&D) helps academic staff at the University to reach their full career potential and to achieve their work goals.

Performance Management & Development for General Staff
A new process for general staff will be launched in 2013. Meanwhile, the existing performance management and development procedures continue to apply.
The PM&D Program is designed to evaluate the performance of general staff using specified performance objectives and ratings. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that performance reviews are conducted with their staff and for providing support for staff development.
