LEGAL PROFESSION ADMISSION BOARD EXAMINATIONS

The Legal Profession Admission Board administers various functions associated with the admission of legal practitioners in New South Wales. Once admitted as a legal practitioner, a person may apply to the Law Society of NSW or the Bar Association of NSW for a practising certificate as either a solicitor or barrister.

The Board administers its examinations and deals with all applications relating to them, to credit, and to admission. For current information in relation to the Board's Examinations, Enrolment procedures, and progression, tuition and exclusion rule applications, please see the Diploma in Law Course Information Handbook and the Legal Profession Admission Board website.
