Trade Practices Lecture Synopsis
Due to a major change to the legislation commencing on 1 January 2011, principal statutory references in the course will be to the Trade Practices Act. Only where necessary (i.e. where there has been an addition or amendment to a statutory provision) will reference be made to the specific statutory provisions contained in the Competition and Consumer Act.
Students are not expected to cross reference both Acts but rather to apply the TPA and certain amendments which will appear in the CCA as from 1 January 2011. |
