Coursework Assessment Policy 2018 This policy will be amended to remove Part 14 'Assessment' from the Coursework Policy 2014 and create a new Coursework Assessment Policy to provide a distinct location for policy provisions pertaining to University assessment.  Amendments will also be made to English language requirements and to clarify various other identified ambiguities.

Coursework Policy 2014 This policy will be amended to provide clarity around the role of deans, faculties and the Academic Board in specifying admissions prerequisites and other requirements.  The Academic board will have authority to approve minimum and pre-published ATARs on the recommendation of relevant faculty and the Admissions Subcommittee.  It will address the gap between equivalence of admission standards for non-recent school leavers and clarifiction regarding differences between international and domestic student entry.  Other issues are English language requirements and ensuring policy aligns with government or accrediting bodies.
