|---|---|---|---|
| Research Data Management Policy | The University does not have a central policy which supports management of the entire research data lifecycle across all research disciplines. This policy will aim to provide University wide principles that researchers and research administrators will be required to observe for the entire lifecycle of research data generated at the University. It will provide for standardised systems and processes to manage research data; secure preservation of important data; appropriate management of sensitive data including personal information; compliance with legal obligations; emerging research technologies; facilitation of research collaboration and innovative use, reuse and sharing of data from diverse disciplines. | Grant Cruchley; Manager, Research Policy & Analysis x78149; grant.cruchley@sydney.edu.au | 27 February 2012 |
