Printing, scanning and photocopying facilities

Virtual Desktops

The majority of the computers across our libraries are ICT virtual desktops. Full details and help on printing, scanning and wireless printing can be found on ICT’s printing and scanning site.

Library Desktops

The University of Sydney Library photocopying and printing service operates on an online payment system. Library photocopiers and printers do not accept cash.

Printing and Photocopying Payment (PPP) Cards

You can purchase a Printing and Photocopying Payment (PPP) Card from the Reload Kiosk. The PPP cards cost $4, and include $4 of pre-loaded credit. A maximum load of $45 will now apply. You can only use cash to load funds onto a PPP card. These Reload Kiosks do not issue change so use the exact value that you want to add. Please only add the value that you require as no refunds are provided for unspent credit.

Reloading on non-PPP cards

Clients that used their own cards,e.g. ‘Staff/Alumni/ Community Borrowers cards, etc’ or PPP cards prior to 2010, you can still use the existing credit on the cards for copiers and printers, however will no longer be able reload credit on them.
