Information Futures: On Open Access

Hosted by the Library and the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) on 30 September 2013, the first Information Futures forum on open access focused on how the University can:

  • maximise research exposure via open access with minimal overhead
  • ensure compliance with NMHRC and ARC funding mandates
  • address publishers and funders to find common ground on versions and author’s rights
  • work collaboratively with Australian universities and funding bodies for a shared national framework on open access
