Let's look at some more examples of different types of references.

Roll your cursor over the references below to identify the different parts of each reference.

Unless on a course reading list articles from journals are not usually listed in the catalogue. If you can't find the article by doing a title search, enter the name of the journal into the journal search box.

Papers from conferences are also not normally listed in the catalogue. If you can't find the paper by doing a title search, enter the name of the conference proceedings into the title search box.

 

Some websites are listed in the catalogue. Enter the name in the keyword search box, or just type the web address into your browser.
