Films are listed in our catalogue as dvds or videorecordings.  Go to Advanced keyword searching. You can find a film by entering in the title and selecting material type as DVD/VHS/Image. You can also find films by entering the title in CrossSearch.  Here is an example of a dvd entry found by doing a CrossSearch. Note the icon for DVDs.

Realia are physical objects which assist teachers preparing curriculum material. Examples of realia are cubes, magnetic letters, flipcharts, measurement tools and so on. Go to Advanced keyword searching and enter your subject. Select material type as Realia/Game. Microfilm contain scholarly material as physical films on reels which require special equipment in the library to magnify the film reel. Some older newspapers are on microfilm as are some historical documents, primary source material and theses. In Fisher microforms are located in the open Compactus on Level 1.

Reference material such as dictionaries, encyclopedias and indexes can be found online as fulltext or in the library collections. In Fisher a small collection is located in the 2 Hour Collection on Level 3. It is not for loan. However you can find lots of reference material online such as:
