Saving References to EndNote

You will not be able to do this part of the tutorial without EndNote software loaded on your computer. Go to EndNote for more information about obtaining the software.

The 2 options are :

Export

This is the recommended option. It is available to those searching databases from :

• a computer loaded with EndNote software
• or one with access via a shared drive.

Import option

Use the import option when searching databases :

• on a PC without your Endnote Library ie. remote location
• on a computer without EndNote software.

References can either be emailed (via an AutoAlert) or saved (to a /flash drive) and then imported into your EndNote Library.
