searching in medline for public health literature

This tutorial will show you the basics of searching Medline for public health literature.

Medline is the biggest medical database but there are other databases that may be provide extra citations including:

• Cinahl - nursing and allied health
• Embase - European equivalent of Medline with a drug treatment emphasis
• Health Collection - Australian focus on health and medicine
• Full list of health and medical databases - ask your Faculty Liaison Librarian for advice
