OXIDATIVE STRESS BIOANALYTICAL FACILITY
The multi-user Oxidative Stress Bio-analytical Facility (OSBF) at the Bosch Institute is a unique world-class facility for the detection, characterisation and quantification of oxidative stress in cells, tissues and organs. The facility provides advice on the assessment of oxidative stress in biological systems and access to, and expert training in, state-of-the-art analytical equipment suitable for the quantification of oxidative stress, including:
- Triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (Agilent 6460 AA)
- Liquid chromatography with multi-channel coulometric electrochemical detection (ESA CoulArray)
- Oxygraph-2k (Oroboros)
The facility is PC2 certified. Registered users also have access to the following equipment:
- Biological safety cabinet
- CO2 incubator
- Inverted microscope
- Refrigerated centrifuge
- SpeedVac
- Shaking water bath
- Dry block heater and evaporator (40 needle capacity)
- Tissue homogeniser
