Decision-making for people with cognitive impairment

Are you a healthcare professional or aged care worker?

Does your work role ever involve providing care, service or treatment for people with dementia?

If you answered yes to both of these questions, I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study. This study investigates your professional judgements relating to healthcare and lifestyle decision-making for people with cognitive impairment.

This study is part of a broader program of research aimed at understanding community perceptions, clinical practice and legal issues associated with ‘supported decision-making’ in Australia. Your participation will contribute to ongoing work aimed at improving care for people living with cognitive impairment.

This study involves a short online survey, which should take no longer than 20 minutes. If you complete the survey, you are eligible to apply to go into a draw for one of five $100 shopping vouchers. The information about the study, and link to participate, can be accessed here www.dementia-care.rcswa.edu.au

Yours sincerely,
Craig Sinclair
