Kids Simulation Australia (KSA) is the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network Simulation program. KSA Simulation Centres are located within the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
The Kim Oates Australian Paediatric Simulation Centre (KOAPSC), at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, is a unique facility designed to train staff and students in the most cutting-edge treatments for sick children, especially in emergency scenarios.
Simulation provides a valuable training opportunity using advanced technology to replicate real-life scenarios and allow for experiential learning, educational innovation, collaboration and research.
Sydney Medical Student Study
Sydney Medical Program (SMP) students have access to this study room, which is located in the main hospital building. You will find it at the second door on your right after you exit the Education Centre on level 3, opposite the Chinese Garden. Your swipe card will provide access to this area.
The computers in this room are provided by the CHW Clinical School for access to the Sydney Medical Program email and website. You will need to use your unikey username and password to access the internet.
Postgraduate Student Common Room
The Postgraduate Student common room is located on level 3 of the Research Building (KRI). The common room has food preparation facilities, lounges and a television.
Access can be obtained from the Postgraduate Research Student Administrative Officer.
Kids Research Institute (KRI) Student Workstations
Workstations are located on level 2 of the Research Building, (KRI).
