Elsie Mobbs is the author of "Thumb-sucking and Dummy-sucking: Evidence for human imprinting" Jan 2007 ISBN 978-0-646-47083-2. This is a summary of her 1991 Masters Thesis "Human Imprinting".

Elsie formulated her ideas as a breastfeeding mother and as group leader for The Nursing Mothers' Association of Australia in the 1960s and early 1970s: Mobbs, E. J.
