Senior clinical lecturer at Discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health, Children's Hospital Westmead and Sydney Medical School.Developmental Paediatrician at Child Development Paediatrics - private practice part-time, 14 Fisher Avenue, Pennant HIlls, NSW.Medico-legal assessments of brain injury, cerebral palsy and learning disorders in children.Enrolled as PhD research student: University of Sydney.
Research interests
Paediatric private practice in Child Development including learning disorders, attention disorders, autism, school difficulties, communication and language disorders.Medico-legal assessments of children with brain injury following motor vehicle/ other accidents and cerebral palsy.Teaching and publications in the fields of child development and legal medicine.Review publication: Obstetric malpractice litigation and cerebral palsy.Work done on the child development module of Masters Course for University of Sydney.Book published by Elsevier/ Churchill Livingstone 2012: A Clinical Handbook on Child Development Paediatrics.Chapter written for Handbook on Legal Medicine: submitted and in process of being published.Current research on impact of rare diseases on children and families: through ARC linkage project.
