The ANZAC Research Institute
Gate 3 CRGH, Hospital Rd, Concord
The ANZAC Research Institute is an exciting new place to do medical research in Sydney. It has only been open for three years and offers state of the art laboratory facilities and up to the minute equipment to its researchers. The focus of our research is cellular and genetic mechanisms associated with conditions that prevent individuals from achieving independent and productive life in old age.
A charitable Foundation, ANZAC Health and Medical Research Foundation, through whose efforts the new facility was built at Concord Hospital Campus, support us in this endeavour. We constitute a Department of the University of Sydney and are closely affiliated with Concord Hospital and Central Sydney Area Health Service. These associations give us the added dimensions of individuality with ready availability of clinical and academic input into our research.
We already boast five professors with worldwide recognition in their respective fields, and eleven post doctoral scientists, all of whom are eager to encourage and share their knowledge with future students in the pursuit of post tertiary qualifications.
We also are situated in beautiful grounds and offer great facilities for entertaining and easy parking. It is well worth a visit.
