NSW Rural Allied Health Scholarships
The Royal Agricultural Society (NSW) Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now open for our Rural Scholarships and JB Fairfax Award for Rural Journalism. These scholarships are for the 2013 academic year and we ask for your help in communicating this opportunity throughout your rural networks and to anyone you know who may be interested in applying
Rural Scholarships - NSW Only
Rural Scholarships lend a helping hand to anyone wanting to make a difference in their rural community. You can be studying any subject and be of any age, all you need is the desire to contribute to a better future for rural NSW. Winners will receive one of numerous scholarships of $1,500 (part time) or $5,000 (full time). Of the 37 scholarships already awarded, areas of study have varied from Engineering and Dentistry to Rural Science and Childcare. Rural Scholarships are available for TAFE, college or university studies.
JB Fairfax Award for Rural Journalism - National
This Award encourages talented young writers who are passionate about rural issues to transform their passion into a career. The winner will receive $10,000 in support of their studies, an internship, as well as the opportunity to have their article published in a major rural publication.
