Dr Denise Donlon
Dr Denise Donlon has, since 1992, provided consultancy work in forensic anthropology primarily in the identification of ancestry, age, sex and stature of skeletonised remains as well as identification of non-human bones. She has also made assessments of post-mortem interval of skeletonised remains as well as interpretations of defects including trauma. She has excavated human remains from Australia, PNG, Indonesia, Vietnam and France. She has acted as an expert witness in coronial and criminal courts. She has acted as an advisor to the Australian Department of Defence in issues surrounding the recovery and identification of the war dead.
