Myee Codrington Scholarship in Microsurgery

The Myee Codrington Medical Foundation and Microsearch Foundation of Australia are offering a full-time postgraduate research scholarship leading to a Master of Surgery at The University of Sydney, for one year in 2007.

The scholarship involves microsurgical training and the investigation of the ability of donor leucocyte subpopulations to prolong organ allograft survival.

Applicants should be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens and have a medical qualification from an Australian university or other recognised institution as well as basic surgical training as approved by recognised institutions. The successful applicant will be required to enrol full-time in the Master of Surgery (by research) at The University of Sydney.

The scholarship is valued at $35,000 per annum (tax exempt) with the possibility of an extension for a second year.
