Bone & Joint Research Fund

Previously the Bone & Joint Research Foundation (BJRF)

In 2006 the Bone and Joint Research Foundation (BJRF) became a Divisional Foundation under the umbrella of Sydney Medical School Foundation. This relationship continued for a further six years until 11 May 2012 when the Bone and Joint Research Foundation was absorbed by Sydney Medical School Foundation to exist from that date on as the Bone & Joint Research Fund (BJRF), within Sydney Medical School Foundation.

This fund continues to carry out its original mission “to assist the Senate and the Vice-Chancellor in the promotion of the object of the University in research, education and scholarship in the fields of bone and joint research including diseases, disorders and treatments of the musculoskeletal system, arthritis and rheumatism.”

A list of grants for years past is included in each of the Sydney Medical School Foundation's annual reports, available here.
