Contemporary issues in Public Health

We have a number of thought-provoking mini lectures throughout the evening including three keynote presentations:

  • International Careers in Public Health Professor Robert Cumming highlights some of the global opportunities available in international public health.
  • Is prevention really the answer? Associate Professor Tim Driscoll identifies some of today’s challenges in public health.
  • Making Smoking History: Public Health Advocacy in Action Professor Simon Chapman looks at the role of the advocate in generating fundamental changes in public attitudes, policy and laws.
