* minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.5 out of 7 (or equivalent at the time of your application)

* Your bachelors degree must be completed by January 1st of the year in which you intend to commence the Sydney Medical Program

* Additional consideration is given to applicants who have completed higher research degrees

 

 

* In 2012 GAMSAT Australia registration closes February 1st

* Registration for GAMSAT is through ACER

* Registration for MCAT is through the MCAT office.

* GAMSAT and MCAT results are valid for 2 years

* Please note: the online application system is used for all courses at the University of Sydney and several elements do not apply to MBBS or DMD applicants.

* At the time of booking, you will need to nominate your preferred Clinical School and offer preferences.

* You cannot book an interview unless you have received an invitation to interview; details on how to book will be provided with the invitation, which will sent to you via email.

* Remember to bring photo identification (passport or driver’s licence) and proof of citizenship / residency to the interview.

* Final admissions will be based on a combination of admissions test results and interview performace.
