Indigenous Australian applicants

Facilitated entry is available for applicants who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people - eligible applicants are considered on a case by case basis.
Eligibility
The Koori Centre of the University of Sydney advises that Aboriginality should be demonstrated by one of the following forms of proof of identity:
- a letter of support from a relevant community organisation such as a land council, legal or medical service or from ASPAA (Aboriginal Student and Parent Awareness Association)
- an affirmation/statutory declaration stating self-identification as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
Please note, proof of receipt of Abstudy will not be accepted as proof of aboriginality unless accompanied by one of the above documents.
Requirements
Applicants will be selected for interview if they satisfy the requirements of their bachelor degree at a pass level and if they reach the minimum acceptable levels of performance in GAMSAT as defined by Sydney Medical School.
Applicants will also be expected to achieve a suitable level of performance at interview.

All domestic applications for Sydney Medical Program must be submitted directly to the University of Sydney.
