International Medical Electives and Independent Learning Activities
International Electives:
Sydney Medical School has agreements with a number of medical schools around the world to offer reciprocal elective placements for a limited number of senior medical students each year.
Independent Learning Activities:
All students in the Sydney Medical Program must complete an Independent Learning Activity (ILA) before July 31st in the second year of their degree and some students choose to complete this overseas. The Office for Global Health programs include some international ILA opportunities for students to complete during their vacation time at the end of first year.
