There are many projects and programs within the Học Mãi Foundation and they are all focused on improving the health outcomes of the people of Vietnam through medical and healthcare education.


2018 Học Mãi Clinical Observer Program - Call for Applications

The Office for Global Health and Học Mãi The Australia-Vietnam Medical Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 Clinical Observer Program.

The Program will facilitate 8-week clinical observership for Vietnamese health professionals at Sydney Medical School. Individuals and organisations with the capacity to fund their observer program in Australia are invited to apply for placements. Dates for placements are estimated to be on August until October 2018.

The Clinical Observer Program partners Vietnamese health professionals with expert supervisors in their chosen speciality, providing the opportunity to view the most up-to-date practices in health and medicine in the context of the Australian health system.

Application requirements

Complete applications (in one pdf file) must be sent to by Friday, 20 October 2017.

Applicants will be invited to an interview between 20-24 November 2017. Interview invitations with time and venue details will be sent out by 10 November 2017.

Scholarships

Deserving applicants based on application documents and interviews will be offered funding assistance including round trip economy airfare, modest student accommodation, and some allowance.
