The Medical Humanities Community

The richness of the medical humanities experience arises from your interaction with other students, practitioners, artists and fellow explorers. In addition to teaching and research, the Medical Humanities Unit runs various extracurricular events that you'll see elsewhere on this website. You can also join our email list, and receive frequent updates with links to articles, jobs, conferences and news and event listings from around Australia. Do contact us to join.

We welcome involvement in the growing Medical Humanities community (whether you are a student of ours or not). If you have ideas about how you would like to get involved, or would like information about your organisation or event communicated to Medical Humanities alumni, students and other community members, please contact.

Our international "sister" centre is the Centre for the Arts and Humanities in Health & Medicine, at the University of Durham in the UK.
