2015 IBJR Awards and Scholarships

The Institute of Bone and Joint Research (IBJR) is pleased to announce the inauguration of three monetary awards for papers and presentations submitted by IBJR affiliates:

  1. Manuscript Award: This award will be for a published paper making the most significant contribution to advances in the management and cure of musculoskeletal disease. Papers are to be based on innovative research, either clinical or basic.
  2. Presentation Award: This award will be for the presentation making the most significant contribution to peer understanding of an aspect of management and cure of musculoskeletal disease. Pre-selected presentations will be asked to present in front of a panel of IBJR affiliates.
  3. A bi-annual Travel Award: This prize is given to an IBJR affiliate whose work has been accepted as an oral or poster presentation in an international conference. It will be awarded on the basis of the significance of the presentation to an aspect of management and cure of musculoskeletal disease. Up to two travel prizes will be awarded.

Any or all of these awards will be granted annually at the discretion of the Awards Committee of the IBJR. Each Award is for an amount of $2,500.
