Melanoma therapy

There is an urgent need to find new therapies to improve the dismal prognosis of metastatic melanoma. Although early stage melanoma can be successfully treated through surgery, there is no cure once it has spread and become metastatic.

Dr Nikolas Haass is a clinician and scientist specialising in dermatological oncology at the University’s Central Clinical School at RPA. Dr Haas’s current research into experimental melanoma therapy is currently supported by the Melanoma Foundation, via a generous donation from the Cameron family.
