Historical Resources for Tutors and Students
From Faculty of Medicine Online Museum and Archive
This material has been chosen to illustrate some of the historical and cultural background to our understanding of various scientific and clinical features of the cases currently taught in each block of the Graduate Medical Program. Each block is divided into topics and you will find:
- historical material relating to the cases
- biographies of Sydney Medical School Faculty and Alumni
- references to relevant Rare Books held in Fisher Library
- artefacts or specimens that can be physically viewed at the University
- image gallery (click on image to enlarge)
In the most, the resources have been drawn from our university libraries and museums. Where indicated, books and objects can be physically viewed by students during library and museum opening hours.
